Bracken is a tremendous sized bull with a magnificent head, red in coloring and domineering in appearance. He returned to the show ring for a single outing after a five year absence, winning Male Champion at the Royal Show 1999. His prodigy to date shows great promise.

In the Spring of 2002, Bracken was admitted to the Cogent EC approved stud near Chester and has been approved by DEFRA and the Highland Cattle Society for the use in the artificial insemination of cattle. Barnaigh has inherited his sire's strength of build. He has excellent fleshing qualities, a very good top line, thick loins, good depth thighs and square hips. His dam is black, hence his unusual coloring.

We shall be using him on some selective females in 2003. Barnaigh has now been sold.
